How to Customize Live Chat Window
The customization feature in ProProfs Live Chat allows you to tailor the appearance and functionality of your live chat widget. You can customize every element of the chat window, from the style and color of the minimized view to adding a logo and even changing the text color for visitors and operators.

Customizing your live chat widget offers the following advantages:

- Operational Flexibility: Set different themes for various operator groups, allowing for role-specific functionalities and appearances.

To Customize the Chat Window
Step 1: On the dashboard, click Settings.
You will automatically land on the Theme section under Chat Window Settings. Here, you can find the option to customize the chat window for groups and edit style, color, and logo.
Step 2: Select the group you wish to customize from the dropdown menu.
You can choose the Default option to apply a universal theme across all groups. This step is crucial for targeting specific customer interactions with tailored designs.
Step 3: Customize the Theme
Here are the various customizable settings for your theme:
Layout: Choose a design for your chat widget. The preview window on the right will update in real time, allowing you to see how each layout will appear.
Style & Icon: Select from two styles—Bubble and Bar. Customize the icon type in the Bubble style.
Color: Select a color theme for the chat window. If you wish to customize the appearance further, click More to access additional options. Here, you can modify the text color for visitors and operators to align with your chosen theme.
Logo: Add your company logo with this option. Please note that the recommended size is 350 x 200 pixels."
Chatbox position: Choose between Left or Right placements for the chat icon.
Bubble Position: Adjust the position of the chat bubble for desktop and mobile screens.
Chatbox Size: Choose from Small, Medium, or Large to best fit the chat window on your site.
You can see the preview of the chat window on the bottom right of the ProProfs Chat editor screen.
