Setting Up and Customizing Your Welcome Screen

 

Step 1: Access the Welcome Screen Settings

 

  • Navigate to the Settings tab in your ProProfs Live Chat dashboard.

  • You’ll be redirected to Chat Window > Design & Layout. Select the Welcome Screen tab.

  • Toggle the Enable button to activate the feature.

 

 

Step 2: Upload Your Logo

 

  • In the Logo section, click Upload Logo to add your brand logo.

  • You can replace or remove the logo anytime.

 

 

Step 3: Add Greeting & Introduction Text

 

  • Scroll to the Greeting & Introduction section.

  • Enter your preferred Greeting Text (e.g., “Hi There!”).

  • Add a short Introduction Text (e.g., “We are delighted to help you.”).

 

 

Step 4: Customize the Action Button

 

  • In the Action Buttons section, choose an icon and label for your chat button.

  • Edit the button text (e.g., “Chat with Us”) to reflect your tone or style.

 

 

Step 5: Display Previous Conversations

 

  • Scroll to the Previous Conversation section and toggle it ON.

  • Visitors can view their three most recent conversations whenever they return to the chat.

 

 

Step 6: Configure Bottom Navigation

 

  • In the Bottom Navigation section, select which elements to display.

  • Enable or disable icons such as Home and Chat.

 

 

Step 7: Live Preview

 

To see how your customizations look before publishing:

  • In the Welcome Screen tab, click on the Live Preview button.

  • A preview window will appear on the right side of your screen, reflecting all changes you’ve made in real-time.
