How to Embed ProProfs Live Chat on Facebook

Embedding ProProfs Live Chat on Facebook can be done in a matter of minutes. Before doing that, you're required to add the app Static HTML: iFrame Tabs to the Facebook page on which you want to embed Live Chat.

Here's how to add the app Static HTML: iFrame Tabs to a Facebook page:

Step 1: On your Facebook page, search for the app Static iFrame tabs and select the app when it appears.

Step 2: Click Go to App.

Step 3: Click Add Static HTML to a Page.

Step 4: Select the page to which you want to add the Static HTML app and click Add Page Tab.

Step 5: Go to the Facebook page on which you've added the app.

Step 6: Click Static HTML.

Step 7: Click Edit Tab.

Step 8: Paste the ProProfs Chat installation code as shown below and click Save & Publish.

Step 9: You're now required to change the tab name from Static HTML to Chat with us. To do that:

• Go to Settings (on the upper right corner).

• Click Templates and Tabs.

• Access the settings for Static HTML.

• Click Edit Settings.

• Change the name from Static HTML to Chat with us.

• Finally, save.

Step 10: Go to the home page of that particular Facebook page to which you've embedded the Live Chat. Click Chat with us. You can see the chat icon on the right side of the screen.
